She got candid on the Call Her Daddy podcast and didn’t hold back
Charlize Theron recently revealed that she had an unforgettable hookup with a 26-year-old — and according to her, it was ‘f**** amazing’.
The Oscar-winning star of Monster is back in action with Netflix’s new release, The Old Guard 2, which dropped on the platform just yesterday (July 2).
In the sequel, Theron returns as Andy, reprising her role from the original film. This time around, she’s joined by some big names, including Uma Thurman from Kill Bill and Henry Golding from Persuasion.
The new chapter follows Andy after she loses her immortality. As she faces this major change, a mysterious immortal from the past reappears, threatening humanity’s future.
To promote the film, Theron has been making the podcast rounds. Her latest stop was Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy, where the 49-year-old ended up taking the conversation in a very different direction. Things shifted when Cooper asked the Mad Max: Fury Road star to share her best advice when it comes to the bedroom.
“I almost choked. I am the last person to ask,” she responded. But then she opened up and shared a recent experience that clearly left quite an impression.

“I’m sounding very cocky here, but I think it’s because I found this freedom in my 40s where I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’ so I just want to say this in perspective. I’ve probably had three one-night stands in my entire life, but I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f****** amazing and I’ve never done that and I was like, ‘Oh, this is great okay’.”
Alex Cooper didn’t hold back her reaction and said exactly what many were probably thinking: “Let me just say that 26-year-old is the luckiest f****** man walking on this God damn planet. He’s walking different today knowing. Oh my God!”
“He for sure is not, but thank you,” Theron replied, laughing.
Theron, who is mom to her two adopted daughters — Jackson, 12, and August, 9 — has previously dated a few famous faces, including actors Sean Penn, Stuart Townsend, and Craig Bierko, along with musician Stephan Jenkins.
During the chat, she also reflected on her past when it came to casual hookups, admitting that one-night stands have never really been a big part of her life.
“I’m sitting here sounding like I do. So when I do, I’m like, ‘Oh, f*** yeah, I should have done this in my 20s!'” she added, being honest about her thoughts.

“I was married from the time that I was, like, having sex to the time that I had my last relationship. Then I had children. Who has f*** time for dates and shaving and waxing and makeup? And, like, I’ve got two children that have to go to school.”
When it came to sharing actual bedroom advice, Theron encouraged other women to focus more on their own pleasure, rather than always trying to please their partner.
“I think this is kind of like a thread throughout our conversation: women who come across as confident, women who come across as outspoken, ones that wouldn’t speak up for themselves tend to also be in bed people who want to please males,” Theron explained during the conversation.
“Like, and I have found this in my experiences with talking to other women about this. Isn’t it strange? We should be the ones that are like, ‘F*** you. I’m gonna have an orgasm.'”
“So my advice would be this. Don’t f****** do that for two reasons. You’re gonna have better orgasms and guess what? Your man’s gonna like that,” she continued, making her point clear.
“Practice helps. You have to practice, and then you’ll figure it out. In a safe way, please.”
The Old Guard 2 is now available for streaming on Netflix, so fans can dive right in and catch Theron back in action.
