Before his execution, Glen Rogers made a chilling remark
One of Florida’s most infamous death row inmates used his final words to make a surprising mention of Donald Trump—and dropped a cryptic hint at something much darker.
Glen Rogers, who once called himself a ‘serial killer’, spent nearly thirty years on death row before the state finally carried out his execution on Thursday, May 15.
The 62-year-old was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison, which is located near Starke. Officials confirmed his death at exactly 6:16 p.m.
Rogers was handed a death sentence after being found guilty of murdering two women in separate incidents in 1995, just a few weeks apart.
His victims were 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs, a mother of two, and 33-year-old Sandra Gallagher, a mother of three.
Despite these convictions, Rogers reportedly told the police he had taken the lives of nearly 70 people over the years.

Why was Glen Rogers nicknamed the ‘Casanova killer’?
Alongside the horror of his crimes, Rogers became widely known for a peculiar nickname—he was dubbed the ‘Casanova Killer’. The term refers to someone who charms and seduces many women.
This nickname stuck with Rogers due to his attractive appearance at the time, including his long blonde hair, and his reputation for approaching women in bars. After gaining their trust, he would later turn violent and attack them.
What were Glen Rogers’ crimes and how was he found?
In 1997, a jury found Rogers guilty on several charges tied to Cribbs’ case—first-degree murder, armed robbery, and grand theft of a car. As a result, he was sentenced to death.
He had met Cribbs at a bar in Tampa and persuaded her to drive him back to his place. After that, he brutally stabbed her.
Her body was later discovered in the bathtub of a motel room in Tampa, several days after the murder took place.
Investigators realized that her vehicle was missing from the motel scene. Eventually, they tracked Rogers down during a high-speed chase in Kentucky while he was behind the wheel of her stolen car.
Then, in 1999, he received another death sentence—this time in California. That charge was for the killing of Gallagher, whom he also met at a bar, this one located in Van Nuys.

After they crossed paths, Gallagher’s body was later discovered burned near Rogers’ residence.
Authorities suspected that Rogers didn’t stop there. They believe he was responsible for the deaths of at least five more individuals across several states, including California, Mississippi, Florida, Ohio, and Louisiana.
In the 2012 documentary My Brother the Serial Killer, Rogers’ brother Clay made an even more shocking claim. He said Glen was involved in the infamous 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson—O.J. Simpson’s ex-wife—and her friend Ron Goldman. However, Fox News reported that the LAPD dismissed this allegation.
What were Glen Rogers’ last words?
Before his death, Rogers chose to eat pizza, chocolate cake, and a soda for his final meal, according to the Daily Star. But what really unsettled those present at the execution were his eerie final words.
Just moments before the lethal injection was administered, Rogers made a strange and unexpected remark, giving a shoutout to the President as his final statement.
He said: “President Trump, keep making America great.”

“I’m ready to go,” he added.
He also took a moment to express his appreciation for his wife, who had visited him at the prison earlier that same day.
But then, he left everyone with a chilling final note. Along with his political mention, he hinted at something deeply unsettling, saying: “In the near future, your questions will be answered.”
How many executions have taken place so far in Florida this year?
Reports state that Rogers was the 16th person to be executed in the United States this year. In Florida alone, he was the fifth person to face the death penalty in 2025.
To compare, there were six executions carried out in Florida during 2023. But in 2024, that number dropped to just one.
According to the Associated Press, the state appears to be increasing its pace again, with another scheduled execution set for June 10.
Florida’s Republican Governor, Ron DeSantis, recently approved a death warrant for Anthony Wainwright. The 54-year-old was convicted for the kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder of Carmen Gayheart back in 1994.
According to the AP, Gayheart was taken from a grocery store parking lot in Lake City, Florida, before she was killed.
Before Rogers was executed, his legal team submitted several appeals in both state and federal courts. Unfortunately for him, all of those efforts were denied.

The defense team argued that he shouldn’t be put to death under laws designed to protect victims of child trafficking.
They claimed Rogers himself had suffered severe abuse as a child and therefore should be given a life sentence instead.
But in the end, the courts rejected these claims and the execution went ahead as planned.
